Ceylon tea, coconut products and drinking water were promoted in the Food and Hotel Asia (FHA) food & beverage exhibition, at Expo Singapore from 08-11 April 2025.
The opening ceremony of the event took place at the Singapore Expo on April 08, 2025, with the Singapore’s Minister of State, Ministry of Trade and Industry Alvin Tan as the Guest of Honor. High Commissioner of Sri Lanka to Singapore, and Minister (Commercial) attended the opening ceremony of the FHA exhibition and visited all Sri Lankan booths and appreciated the companies for participating at their own cost promoting Ceylon tea, coconut products and drinking water. The High Commission facilitated the Sri Lankan companies by inviting potential importers to visit their booths and by arranging B2B meetings. The four Sri Lankan companies participated were Stassen Exports Pvt Ltd, NDC exports (Pvt) Ltd, Sugano Colombo (pvt) Ltd and Eins Water Distributors.
The FHA is Asia’s leading food and beverage exhibition, held annually in Singapore which serves as a dynamic platform to explore the latest trends, innovations, and business opportunities, bringing together industry professionals in the F&B sector from around the world. More than 1,600 exhibitors representing 50 countries are participating this year, and the event drew over 65,000 attendees from both local and international markets.
The food and beverage sector of Sri Lanka is one of the priority sectors promoting the country as a potential trade and tourism destination.
