The High Commission of Sri Lanka in Singapore continues to support and encourage the establishment of Sri Lanka restaurants, aiming to foster the presence of the flavors and uniqueness of various Sri Lankan cuisines across Singapore. 

Given this context, Kunthaville, a new Sri Lankan restaurant commenced operations auspiciously at 18, Veerasaamy Road, Singapore 207236 on 21st November 2023. Mr. Ahamed Razee, Acting High Commissioner of the High Commission of Sri Lanka in Singapore officiated the launching of the new Sri Lankan restaurant together with Ms. Kuntha Chelvanathan, owner of the Kunthaville Restaurant. Mr.Yasantha Yaddehi, Minister (Commercial) of the High Commission also joined the opening ceremony along with Singaporean friends and members of the media. 

In extending congratulations, the Acting High Commissioner commended Ms. Kuntha and her team, on the milestone achievement in opening a high-end Sri Lankan restaurant in the city-state. Mr. Razee highlighted Kunthaville’s potential in bringing the authentic flavors of Sri Lanka closer to the Singaporean community, emphasizing the restaurant’s fusion of food, design, and ambience to deliver the essence of Sri Lankan hospitality and create memorable experiences for food lovers.
